Yamaha Custom 82Z Tenor Saxophone, Fresh Overhaul
Yamaha Custom 82Z tenor saxophone. In my opinion, this is the very best tenor saxophone model being made today. I adore this saxophone for both classical and jazz styles. There's a clarity to the sound and ease of playing that I don't find in other modern pro horns. This model captures the spirit and sound of the Mark VI but with modern ergonomics and improved intonation.
The sax is in perfect playing condition. It just received a top of the line overhaul by Eric Beach. Bb to high F# (and beyond) come out effortlessly. Eric's pad work is the best in the business, and this horn is probably playing better than it did the day it left the factory. The horn has pop and presence.
The sax comes with a brand new top of the line Bam Classic case which retails for $300+. It's a perfect fit for the sax and a nice upgrade from the original Yamaha case.
