Yamaha Allegro YTS-575AL Tenor Saxophone
Yamaha Allegro YTS-575AL tenor saxophone. If you're looking for a great horn under $2000, this one should be at the top of your list. This is Yamaha's updated intermediate model, replacing the 52. The sax comes with a G1 neck, which is the same neck that ships with the pro level Yamaha 62. The sax feels great to hold and has keywork similar to the top of the line Custom horns, a major upgrade from their student models. The G1 neck is a meaningful upgrade, and really allows this sax to sing. Since this neck is not compatible with Yamaha's student saxophones or the older 52, this is a great reason to go for the updated 575AL.
The sax was just adjusted by my repairman, so the pads are sealing well and the horn plays very well from top to bottom.
