Winslow Alto Saxophone Ligature for Hard Rubber Mouthpieces
Here's a near mint condition Winslow ligature with its original cap and extras. The ligature is about 15 years old, so from the prime era of Winslow ligatures. The box is an original Winslow box, but it came mis-marked for another size ligature. You can see that it has the black tightening screw, which is the previous design.
The ligature is size is 2, which you can see etched on the inside of the ligature. According to Winslow, this was designed for hard rubber alto sax mouthpieces including Selmer, Otto Link, Beechler, Rico Royal, Excalibur, etc.
I have personally played Winslow ligatures on and off for over 20 years. They have unbelievable response, which I've never found on any other ligature. It's also extremely forgiving with reeds, which is also a huge plus.
