Vintage Great Neck Brilhart Streamline Tonalin Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece
Brilhart Streamline Tonalin alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is an early Great Neck mouthpiece, which has a large font s/n. Brian Powell fixed the bite plate and opened the tip up a touch. I acquired this mouthpiece with the original facing in excellent condition. It originally had a .068" tip opening, which is a bit on the small side for most players. He opened it up to .073", right around a 5 tip opening. The result is fantastic. The mouthpiece has a tremendous bright and compact sound, and seems incredibly reed friendly and easy to play. This is the same model that Charlie Parker played during part of his career.
