Vintage 1950's Selmer Metal Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece
1950's metal Selmer Table C alto saxophone mouthpiece. The condition of this mouthpiece is rather extraordinary for its age. It doesn't appear to have been played much, as the finish looks original, and the silver plating is nearly perfect. This mouthpiece has fluted sides and the diamond shaped logo, indicating that it is one of the first metal mouthpieces Selmer produced. The mouthpiece comes with its original cap and ligature. Marcel Mule played on a metal Selmer mouthpiece, probably not much different than this one (although I'm not sure what facing he played, I would guess it was either a C or C*).
