Selmer Series III Tenor Saxophone, Just Serviced
Selmer Series III tenor saxophone, s/n 601155. This saxophone was just serviced by my tech prior to sale. He regulated the pads so that they're sealing well and replaced 4 key corks. The pads are in great condition with a lot of life left.
This is an excellent playing Series III that captures the essence of this model . The design of this tenor is quite similar to a Mark VI. It has the same body tube and a very similar neck profile, but with a larger bell. It has incredibly even timbre and response, and is capable of producing a tremendously large dynamic range. I've played this model professionally for five years and love its versatility and timbre.
