Selmer Reference 36 Tenor Saxophone, Near Mint
Selmer Reference 36 tenor saxophone. In my opinion, this is the best tenor Selmer makes today. It's inspired by a 1936 Balanced Action tenor, but with a modern mechanism and better tuning. Tonally, the horn is rich and full, darker and more open than a Series III. Getting down low is effortless on this horn. The palm keys sit slightly closer to the horn than the series III tenor, so the previous owner added custom palm key risers. These look and feel great.
This sax is in excellent original condition. The pads are still in great condition, seal very well, and have a lot of life left. The sax comes in its original case.
