67,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, 98% Original Lacquer
1956 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 67031. Here is a one-owner 5-digit Selmer that is in fantastic original condition. The lacquer is original and approximately 98% remains. The neck is original to the horn and has a matching serial number. It's never been bent down. The bell flare is also perfect. Other than a couple of dings that appear to have been pulled out on the bottom bow, I don't see any other dentwork performed on this horn. There are no resoldered joints.
My repairman just serviced the sax prior to sale, and the horn gets around effortlessly in all registers. My repairman replaced four key corks and two felts. The pads are old but sealing well. Most of the original reusable metal resonators are still present. The sax comes in its original Chesterfiled case. Both zippers work and move freely.
