1978 King Marigaux Soprano Saxophone, Video
1978 King Marigaux soprano saxophone, s/n 25791. This is an SML manufactured stencil made for King. It's a very nice playing soprano that I find to be on the dark end of the spectrum. There's a distinct warmness to the sound that is very pleasing. If you struggle on soprano with bright/harsh tones, this would be a good horn to consider. The pads are mostly on the older side, but are sealing very well. My tech just serviced the horn prior to sale, replacing the neck cork, 5 key corks and one pad. It feels great in all registers and can whisper down to a low Bb.
