1969 Selmer Mark VI, s/n 163575. Here's a 1960's era Mark VI in great original condition. The lacquer is original and approximately 90% remains. My tech just serviced the sax, replacing one pad and several key corks. The rest of the pads are still in great condition with a lot of life left. The sax comes in its original case and both zippers work.
Selmer experimented with various bow lengths over the years, and ultimately switched to a medium bow in 1968. The medium bow has the best combination of great intonation excellent tone and responsiveness. These earlier medium bow Mark VI's have an excellent reputation, and this horn certainly fits into that category.
