1967 146,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, Original Lacquer, Overhaul
1967 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 146398. The saxophone has its original lacquer and is 95% present. Shortly before I acquired the sax from its previous owner, it received an overhaul. The pads are still in new condition. The horn feels tight and locked in, and really sings in all registers. The sax comes in its original case.
Tenors from this vintage are some of my favorite Mark VI's of all time. They possess a wonderful combination of tonal richness found in earlier vintages, but have some extra power and projection that is more common in later Mark VI's. With vintage, you really get the best of both worlds.
