1954 49,xxx Buffet R13 clarinet. Here is a very early Buffet R-13 clarinet which is in excellent original condition. The previous owner was a saxophonist who rarely played his clarinet. It had been sitting in its case for over 50 years when I received it. There are no cracks and the overall condition is excellent for a clarinet that is nearly 65 years old. My repairman just overhauled the clarinet prior to sale, so it's playing perfectly. If you're looking for a vintage Buffet that hasn't been blown out and still feels tight, this is an excellent option. It has a gorgeous sound that is a result of superior workmanship and materials.
