1950's Selmer Metal Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece, C, MARCEL MULE MODEL
1950's metal Selmer C alto saxophone mouthpiece. The condition of this mouthpiece is nearly mint. The table, tip and rails are all perfect. This mouthpiece has fluted sides and a diamond shaped logo, indicating that it is one of the first metal mouthpieces Selmer produced. The mouthpiece comes with its original cap and ligature. Marcel Mule played on a metal Selmer mouthpiece, probably not much different than this one (although I'm not sure what facing he played, I would guess it was either a C or C*). The tip opening measures .064".
