1937 Buescher Aristocrat Alto Saxophone
1937 Buescher Aristocrat alto saxophone, s/n 281,xxx. Here's a stunning original Buescher Aristocrat that is in wonderful original condition. Everything is original here -- the lacquer is around 99%, all of the snap in pads and resonators are present, and the gold Norton springs are all there. My repairman performed a careful service on the horn and was able to preserve all of the pads. Amazingly, the pads still seal well which is quite an accomplishment for pads that are over 80 years old. The new owner may want to eventually replace the pads, but it's not mandatory based on how the sax plays.
