1966 136,xxx Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone with approximately 98% original lacquer. Here is a one-owner horn that just received a full overhaul from my repairman prior to sale. The sax is in excellent condition overall. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The original case is in great condition and both zippers work. Other than some natural speckling mainly on the back side of the horn, the lacquer is nearly perfect.
This is a great vintage for altos, and this one plays incredibly well. There's a roundness and richness in the tone that makes it very enjoyable to play. It has great projection and plays from top to bottom with ease.
